Adele and Simon Konecki’s Divorce is Official

Adele and former husband, Simon Konecki, are now officially divorced.

In April 2019, representatives for the 32-year-old songstress announced that the couple had separated – after more than seven years together – but they would both raise their eight-year-old son, Angelo.

Adele filed for divorce in September of the same year at the Los Angeles Superior Court in California, USA.

On Thursday, 4 March, the “Hello” hitmaker and the 46-year-old charity entrepreneur’s divorce was finalised after a judge signed off on the pair’s settlement agreement – which included spousal support, property ownership, and the shared custody of Angelo.

Sources claim that Adele has been “pouring her heart and soul” into her next album as a form of “therapy” amidst the legal proceedings.

The sources added that the whole process has been remarkable in that the former couple got through without “an explosive public court case, slanging matches or scandalous claims about each other”, allowing them a better chance to stay on positive future terms.
